Hi! I’m Kerry, founder and owner of Hiking Adventures: Home & Away - a hiking community offering free day hikes in the UK, and hiking holidays abroad.
Over the years I have hiked extensively in the UK, and travelled overseas to tackle some of the world’s most iconic trails from the Lost City in Columbia, the Rocky Mountains in Canada and the mighty Manaslu Circuit in Nepal.
By day I run a travel agency and have over 15 years’ experience in the industry. And so, I combined my love of hiking with my expertise in planning and delivering exceptional holiday experiences, to create Hiking Adventures: Home & Away.

With free, organised walks taking place every weekend, members have regular opportunities to escape the routine, experience new landscapes, and connect with others who appreciate nature just as much as they do.
So, whether we are ticking off Wainwrights in the Lake District or hiking the Highlands of Scotland, there’s something for all levels. All of our UK hiking events are listed on our Facebook group, where you can also sign up to come along, or host your own event.
And, when it comes to our adventures abroad, you’re in safe hands. Each hiking holiday I plan is fully ATOL protected, providing reassurance and peace of mind so you can travel with confidence.
